This policy explains what pricetoast collects, why, and your choices. We keep it minimal: we only collect what we need to watch prices and email you.
What we collect
- Account info — your email, and a basic profile if you sign in with Google or Facebook.
- Your trackers — the product links you add and the alert conditions you set.
- Price observations — the prices we fetch for your tracked products over time.
- Basic technical data — standard logs needed to run and secure the Service.
How we use it
To run the Service: track prices, send the alert emails you asked for, show your dashboard and history, and handle billing. We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to operate, and share only what each needs:
- Supabase — database & authentication
- Vercel — hosting
- Resend — sending alert emails
- Google / Facebook — optional sign-in
- Our payment provider — for paid plans (they handle card data; we never see it)
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use them for advertising.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. Price history is pruned based on your plan's retention window. Delete your trackers or account anytime and the associated data is removed.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data from your account, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as under GDPR or CCPA); we honor valid requests.
Security
We rely on reputable infrastructure and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep it safe.
Children
pricetoast isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
